Manage Contact In-app Notifications

  • Click your initials on the top right in the header

  • Click "Admin" in the Dropdown

  • Click "Notifications" under Content

Notifications

Add New Inquirer Served Options

  • Click the blue "+ New" button. Enter a Title and a Message, and Save (as a Draft) or Save and Publish

Manage Existing Notifications

  • Navigation

    • Use the "Previous Page" and "Next Page" options to scroll through the different pages of Notifications

    • Use the "Filter" next to "Created At" and "Published At" to search, sort A-Z, or sort Z-A on the current page

  • 3 Options when managing existing Notifications

    • Edit

      • Change the Title and Message of an existing Notification

      • Only Draft Notifications can be Edited

    • Archive/Unarchive

      • Archive an existing Notification

      • Unarchive (Restore) a previously archived Notification to Draft

    • Delete

      • Remove the existing Notification

Notifications States

  • 4 Notification States

    • Draft

      • The initial state for all Notifications

      • Draft notifications are not visible to general Contact users

      • Notifications in the Draft State can move to: Published, Archived, Deleted

    • Published

      • Published notifications are visible to general Contact users

      • Notifications in the Published State can move to: Draft, Archived, Deleted

    • Archived

      • Archived notifications are not visible to general users

      • Archived notifications and Draft notifications are very similar. The difference often comes in workflow, where Draft notifications are generally in progress and waiting to be Published, where as Archived notifications have already been published and are kept for historical record

      • Notifications in the Archived State can move to: Draft

    • Deleted

      • Deleted Notifications are gone forever and cannot be recovered

      • Notifications in the Deleted State can move to: N/A

    User Feature

    Users will see Published Notifications from the Bell icon or on the Notifications page. See In-app Notifications for more information
