Manage Reason for Opening

Permissions

To Manage Reason for Opening in CS Contact, CareSuite users require a CS Contact role that has the "Manage Opening Reasons" permission

  • Click your initials on the top right in the header

  • Click "Admin" in the Dropdown

  • Click "Reason for Opening" under Settings

Reason for Opening Options

Add New Reason for Opening Option

  • Click the blue "+ New" button. Enter a Reason for Opening and Click Save

Manage Existing Reason for Opening Options

  • Navigation

    • Use the "Previous Page" and "Next Page" options to scroll through the different pages of Reason for Opening Options

    • Use the "Filter" next to "Name" to search, sort A-Z, or sort Z-A on the current page

  • 3 Options when managing existing Reason for Opening Options

    • Edit

      • Change the name of the existing Reason for Opening

    • Archive/Unarchive

      • Archive an existing Reason for Opening

      • Unarchive (Restore) a previously archived Reason for Opening

    • Delete

      • Remove the existing Reason for Opening

      • This can only be completed if the Reason for Opening has not been used

User Feature

Users will see this feature when Manually Opening a New Contact and in the Header of an Open Contact. See 2. Manually or 4. Reason (for Opening) for more information
