Permissions
To access the Main Contacts Page in CS Contact, CareSuite users require a valid CS Contact role
In-app Notifications
Notifications will always appear newest-first within the following group-order:
Unread — These will have a blue dot to the left of the Notification
Read and Favorited — These will have a yellow star to the right of the Notification Title
All Other Read
There are 2 ways to view In-App Notifications in CS Contact:
Notification Bell
Notification Page
1. Notification Bell
The Notification Bell appears in the CS Contact Header, and is available to view In-App Notifications on any page of CS Contact.
When the user has unread notifications, it will "Ring" and have a Red Dot containing the number of Unread Notifications
Navigation
Click the "Bell" icon in the CS Contact Header
Click on a Notification to Read it
Click "See all notifications" to be taken to the Notifications Page

2. Notification Page
The Notification Page is accessible by clicking the "Bell", then "See all notifications"
Navigation
Click the "Bell" icon in the CS Contact Header
Click "See all notifications
Click on a Notification to Read it
Use the "Mark all as Read" button to transition all Unread notifications to Read

Notification States / Favorite Notifications
All published notifications start off as "Unread" for all users. Once a user opens the details of a notification, CareSuite automatically marks this notification as "Read" for the user.
Users have the option to "Favorite" read notifications by clicking on the Star icon, found next to the title when the notification details are open, or to the right of the "Published At" date on the Notifications Page. The Star icon will be filled in when a notification is Favorited.
Notifications can be Unfavorited by clicking on the Star icon again
