Select a Profile for a Contact

Permissions

To select a Profile for a Contact in CS Contact, CareSuite users require a CS Contact role that has the "Manage Contact" permission

Methods

All Contacts require an associated Profile on the caller/client.

There are 2 main ways to select a Profile for a Contact:

  1. Search and Select an existing Profile

  2. Create a new Profile

1. Search and Select an existing Profile

Information on repeat callers/clients may already exist in the system. Use search to look for a matching Profile, view key pieces of information, and Select the matching Profile when confident in a match

  • Use the search field(s) to find a matching profile

    • Available search fields: First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Zip Code/Postal Code

  • View key pieces of information on the returned Profile(s)

    • Profile Information shown: First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, DOB (Date of Birth), Address

    • Metadata on Profiles shown: (Date of) Profile Last Update, (Date of) Last Contact

  • When confident in a match, click "Select" to associate the Profile with the Contact

    • CareSuite recommends a minimum of 4 Profile Information fields match, to feel reasonably confident in a match

2. Create a new Profile

Create a new Profile for first time callers/clients, or callers/clients who prefer to remain anonymous

  • Click "Create new profile"

  • Enter as much information as provided, or leave the fields blank for anonymous callers/clients

  • Only Zip Code / Postal Code is required

    • If unavailable, consult your organization's internal CareSuite guide or reach out to your CareSuite team lead

  • Click "Create New Profile"
