Referrals

Permissions

To update the information in the Referrals section within a Contact in CS Contact, CareSuite users require a CS Contact role that has the "Manage Contact" permission

Referrals Tabs

The Referrals section within a Contact has 4 tabs:

  1. Referrals on this Call

  2. Past Referrals

  3. Service Gaps

  4. Past Service Gaps

1. Referrals on this Call

Displays the list of Resources which were referred for this Contact.

It it also where Sending the Referrals to the Client occurs

  • View the Resource and Site name for each referred Resource on this Contact

    • If a referral has already been sent on this Contact, a green checkmark and a notification of referral method will appear, e.g. "Sent by email", "Sent by SMS"

  • Click on each referred Resource to view the Resource details (popup)

  • Click the "X" on the right hand side of the referred Resource to Unrefer it

  • Click "Review and Send"

  • Check the box(es) for the referral(s) to send

  • Enter an Email and/or a Phone Number

    • If the Profile of the Contact has an Email and/or a Phone Number, this data will automatically appear in the box(es) and/or the "Use email/phone number of contact" option will appear

  • Click "Send"

2. Past Referrals

Displays the list of Resources which were referred to this Profile from previous Contacts

  • View the Resource and Site name, along with the datetime of referral, for each previously referred Resource for this Profile

  • Click on each referred Resource to view the Resource details (popup)

3. Service Gaps

Displays the list of Service Gaps which were added to this Contact

  • View the Service Gap Name, (optionally) Taxonomy Term, (optionally) Referral, and (optionally) Comment for each added Service Gap on this Contact

  • Click "Add Service Gap"

    • This button appears on all tabs within the Referrals section

  • Select a Service Gap, (potentially) a Taxonomy Term, (optionally) Referral, and (optionally) enter a Comment

  • Click "Save"

4. Past Service Gaps

Displays the list of Service Gaps which were added to this Profile from previous Contacts

  • View the Service Gap Name, (optionally) Taxonomy Term, (optionally) Referral, (optionally) Comment, the datetime, and the Contact ID on which the Service Gap was added, for each added Service Gap on this Profile

  • See Manage Service Gaps for more details on configuring the Service Gap Types and Taxonomy Term Selection for Service Gaps (Requires Admin permissions)
