In-app Notifications

In-app notifications are published by CS Contact Admins and often contain a quick message about new or updated programs, resources, and protocols.

The Bell

The Bell can be accessed from any page within Contact to view published notifications.

Notifications Page

All notifications can be viewed on the Notifications Page, accessible by clicking the "See all notifications" button from the Bell.

Notifications in the Bell and on the Notifications Page are displayed newest-first in the following order:

  1. Unread notifications

  2. Favorited read notifications

  3. All remaining read notifications

Notification States / Favorite Notifications

All published notifications start off as "Unread" for all users. Once a user opens the details of a notification, CareSuite automatically marks this notification as "Read" for the user.

Users have the option to "Favorite" read notifications by clicking on the Star icon, found next to the title when the notification details are open, or to the right of the "Published At" date on the Notifications Page. The Star icon will be filled in when a notification is Favorited.

Notifications can be Unfavorited by clicking on the Star icon again.
