Navigation & Key Features

CS Contact uses a nested pages navigation system inclusive of four primary pages. The following article will provide a high level overview of accessing/ using each page.

The Waffle (Navigation Widget)

The primary navigation widget AKA "The waffle" can be accessed from any page within contact to create a contact, head to a users contact landing page, and/or directly search the resource database.

Search/Create Contact (New Contact)

Often referred to as "the Blue page" is where a contact transaction begins. Clients profiles can be created and searched from within the blue page. See Creating New Contacts to learn more about the how to search and create contacts from the blue page.

Contact Details (Active Contact)

The landing page once a client profile has been searched and/or created is referred to as the contact details page. From within this page, all transaction data is collected, referenced, tagged and sent out to the caller and/or program staff as required per organization protocol. See Call/Interaction Logging & Completing Program Intakes to take a deeper dive into rendering services from within the contact details page.

Contact Landing Page (All Contacts)

A contact users main page to view and manage all historical contacts is referred to as the contact landing page. Contacts can be filtered and sorted from within this page for review and QA purposes. See Viewing Interaction Historyto view different ways of filtering contacts from within the contact landing page.

The resource search page can be accessed from two places, the waffle and from within an active contact. Where you access it depends on whether you are simply looking into the database or actively referring resources to a contact from within it. See Resource Database Search to learn more about how to search the database.
